Mumbai: Actor Anupam Kher has been invited by Hindu University in America to provide a prestigious honorary doctorate in a Hindu study at a Simple Hindu Vedic Ceremony in Manhattan, New York on Saturday.
“It is an honor to be the first recipient of the Honorary Doctoral Award from the Hindu University of America.
I believe, through Hinduism, we can learn and understand the importance of harmony and receipts.
I want to promote the same peace message further with a doctorate,” Anupam Kher said in A statement.

In addition to being titled more than 500 films globally and 100 dramas, Kher is also the recipient of the IIFA award for the extraordinary achievement in the Indian cinema, nominated for the British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA), and achieve a series of recopes of eight consecutive filmfare awards.
Kher has also been respected with the Padma Shri Award in 2014 and Padma Bhushan in 2016 for his extraordinary work in the cinema.
