Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif Starrer ‘Jagga Jagga’, which hit the screen in 2017, tanked at the box office.
After giving a blow like ‘Barfi!’, Ranbir and Director of Anurag Basu failed to impress the audience with this music adventure.
Speaking with the news portal, filmmakers revealed that in the last two years he had received several offers from the Big Ott platform to change ‘Jagga Jasoos’ into a series but not sure about it.
The filmmaker wonders if the film does not work in the cinema then how it works on a digital platform.
He also revealed that Pritam musicians were passionate about the idea but the idea of starting ‘Jagga Jasoos’ again was giving anurag basu the chills.
‘Jagga Jasoos’ marks the last film Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif together.
The duo has ended their relationship when photographing a film, which was reported to result in a postponement of the film.
These films are mostly shot at Cape Town, South Africa.
Interestingly, Ranbir Kapoor and Anurag Basu together arranged the Shuru Productions image to ‘Jagga Jasoos’.
Looking at the idea of making a web series, Anurag Basu further added that the man of his leader Ranbir Kapoor was very busy now and their associations might not happen in the near future.
Ranbir Kapoor is currently in Delhi Shooting for business without the title Luv Ranjan next with Shraddha Kapoor.
Apart from this, he also has a ‘Brahmastra’ sci-fi drama, co-starring the love of real life, Alia Bhatt.
Directed by Ayan Mukerji, ‘Brahmastra’ also Amitabh Bachchan stars, Mouni Roy, Dimple Kapadia and Nagarjuna in an important role.
This film will see Shah Rukh Khan on the Cameo Avatar.
Ranbir also has ‘Shamshera’ and ‘Animals’ actions in the list of upcoming films.
