New Delhi: Minister of Union Anurag Thakur on Wednesday equalized the behavior of the Pratap Bajwa Pratres Parliament Member in Rajya Sabha to Vandalism January 26 in the red fortress and said throwing files in the house at home was an “embarrassing” incident.
He also attacked the Congress and other opposition parties on Lok Sabha’s trial disruption and Sabha, told them that had been sent to parliament by people to raise their problems.
Bajwa on Tuesday was seen throwing an official file in the chair at Rajya Sabha after climbing a table occupied by officials during protests by opposition members when the house would begin a discussion about the problem of farmers.
“Throwing the file in the chair after climbing the table was an embarrassing incident,” said Thakur told reporters.
“If someone is proud of such an effort, I feel that the embarrassing incident of January 26 is being repeated,” he added.
Bajwa on Tuesday said he did not regret creating a commotion in Rajya Sabha and was ready to face anyone’s actions to raise his voice on agricultural law.
“I am not sorry.
I will do this 100 more times if the government does not give us the opportunity to discuss three black anti-agricultural laws,” he told PTI.
