New Delhi: Ahead of the upcoming assembly selection in Uttar Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacts with BJP workers at Lok Sabha Constituency Varanasi and ask them to tell people about the importance of voting and emphasize that every sound is important.
“Every sound is important, we must tell people the importance of voting,” said PM Modi.
This is the first political interaction of fashionable PM involving party workers since the Election Commission (EC) announced a schedule for assembly polls into five countries, including Uttar Pradesh.
After cases of Covid increased, EC, in its order, it has banned political parties from holding a roadshow, demonstration, inyatras until January 22.
The selection for the selection of assembly of 403 in Uttar Pradesh will be held in seven phases from February 10.
Polling in Uttar Pradesh will be held on February 10, 14, 20, 23, 27 and 2 March and 7 in seven phases.
Vote counting will take place on March 10.
