Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh government has decided to raise funds from donors, both nationally and internationally, because it really needs more than Rs 6,300 Crore to improve infrastructure in schools to implement national education policies-2020.
Also, with his plan to get all 44,500-plus government schools in the state affiliated with the secondary education center, the necessary physical infrastructure needs to be built.
There were 44,519 schools managed by the state in AP with 66,846 rooms at this time.
In accordance with infrastructure standards for foundations and foundations – plus schools and high schools, and also CBSE norms, the total room needs in these schools are 1,15,472.
“We need to build 48,626 additional rooms in these schools.
It is estimated that Rs 6,321.38 Crore is needed for it.
Therefore, we have decided to seek donations from various quarters,” said the Top PTI official.
The government’s commandment of donation modalities will soon be issued, he said.

The government also requires RS 450 Crore School maintenance funds per year but the number is being deducted from the recipient of the Ammavodi Freebie scheme at the level of Rs 1,000 respectively.
Under Ammavodi, the government has paid Rs 15,000 every year up to around 44.5 lakh mothers for sending their children to school.
Since last year, the government has credited only 14,000 RS each into the accounts of mothers while maintaining balance for school maintenance.
While taking care of the maintenance section, there is no money available with the state government for the construction of new infrastructure because the bank is also reluctant to advance loans again, officials show.
Therefore, the donation scheme, they said.
“Donors can provide for one school or a group of schools or even components.
Expenditures will be displayed in the public domain and donors will receive a certificate,” said the top official with the program.
The government is trying to tap foreign donors, especially the multinational companies and trusts run by generous businessmen, who have funded other programs in the country.
“We will receive a foreign contribution through a separate account with the Connect AP initiative.
The paid money will be transferred to the parents of the parents of each school and there will be a state-level management committee to oversee the program,” the official said.
The government plans to launch the infrastructure development program this year so that it completes it in 2024, he added.
