Hyderabad: A total of 1,21,480 candidates who qualify in the stream of Telangana Engineering Agricultural Engineering and General Medical Tests (TS Eamcet 2021), the results released on Wednesday.
The percentage of qualification of 82.08% in this year’s technical stream was 6.79% more than last year.
In 2019 and 2018, each 82.41% and 78.24% respectively.
While Andhra Pradesh Boys Satti Karthikeya from West Godavari and Duyggineni Venkata Paneseesh from Kadapa was secured first and second place, Mohammed Abdul Muqeetet from Tolichowki secured a third place.
In the top 10 list, six came from AP and four from Telangana.
“I want to do research in the end,” said Karthikeya who is happy who also hopes to secure chairs in computer science at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay.
He secured a 99.99 percentile in the shared entrance examination.
In agricultural and medical flow (AM), 92.48% of a total of 86,641 candidates qualified at the entrance this year due to 93% last year.
Candidates from Telangana are done comparatively better in this flow than in engineering because they managed to secure 6 of the top 10 ratings.
While Boy Hyderabad Mandava Karthikeya secured the top ranking, Emani Srinija from the Ranga Reddy district was second and Teruply Sai Koushal Reddy, a resident kukatpally, stood third.
“Since childhood, I want to be a doctor.
I used to like the environment and doctoral way.
I want to be a surgeon,” Karthikeya said.
Only three girls, one in the technical stream and two in AM stream, made it to the top 10 list.
This year, a total of 1,64,963 registered candidates from the technical flow and 86,641 registered candidates for AM flow.
Both streams are combined, a total of 85.7% of candidates have qualified in TS Eamcet 2021.
