API in high-rise Mumbai; no victims

Mumbai: The fire broke out in the basement of a Ground-Plus-20-floor building on the outskirts of the bandra on Thursday afternoon, a civilian official said.
There are no reports of injury, he said.
Blaze erupted at around 1:15 a.m.
in the Underground Building Kanakia, where various memo items were stored, near the Kherwadi Police Station in Bandra (Timur), said an API official.
Four fire extinguisher and water tanker rushed to the place and the flame was watered after about an hour, he said.
Investigation is underway to ensure the cause of the fire, he added.
Last Saturday, a fire broke out in a 15-storey housing building in the suburb of Kandivali (West), killing someone and injuring others, the previous official said.
On October 22, a 30-year-old security guard fell on his death from the balcony on the 19th floor of a 61-storey housing building in Central Mumbai after a large fire broke there.
