Apple allows users to assess and review the first party application for the first time in 2021 under the rules pressure before entering an antitrust investigation.
Apple has now offered more first-party applications to the App Store for reviews and ratings covering – messages, telephone, safari, photo applications, and more.
Some of the first party applications by Apple can now be downloaded separately, but users have never been allowed to review it, especially applications such as news and podcasts, letters that do not function for most users and start with three star rating.
TechCrunch reported that this change was first noticed by the developer of Costa Eleftheriou, which has become an important figure in promoting the App Store reform, especially regarding the App Store Scammers.
Some Apple applications are now available to assess and review with iOS 15.1.
These include several default applications, such as messages, telephone, clocks, photos, cameras, safari and apple health.
The report added that it also included applications for Apple Watch such as world clocks, exercises, heart rate, and found devices.
Users on iOS 14 may be able to see the application but will not be able to review and assess.
This change is expected to allow Apple update its own application, in addition to independent iOS updates.
Google follows this strategy with some of its core features and functions, with each application it has the play store list itself.
This report also adds that the application appears with an independent separate list of the latest iOS updates.
Even though most users don’t know about the application list, but all applications have several reviews to get started.
The report said that the only strange thing in the list of applications was the rank of Safari age.
The Apple Safari browser has a rating of 4+ age whereas, competitors such as Firefox and Chrome have a rating of age 17+ we have to wait to find out how this application rate is as more users find, review and assess Apple’s first party application.
By opening yourself on user feedback, Apple will be better prepared to make the necessary changes requested by the user and even be warned about the possibility of bugs even before they arrive.
