Apple asked CCI to drop the application market case, quoting a low share

New Delhi: Apple has asked the Indian Competition Commission (CCI) to discard cases that accuse the abuse of market power in the application room, saying it is a player that is too small in India, where Google is dominant, the archning is seen by Reuters.
Archiving was carried out after the antitrust supervisor began reviewing the allegations that Apple hurt competition by forcing application developers to use their ownership system, which can impose a commission fee of up to 30% on in-app purchases.
Apple denied its accusation in its submission to CCI and emphasized that its market share in India was “not significant” 0-5%, while Google ordered 90-100% as another Android operating system (OS) Powers.
“Apple is not dominant in the Indian market …
without domination, there is no abuse,” Apple said in submission on November 16, which was signed by Kyle Andeer’s main compliance officer.
