Apple introduces max airpods in 2020.
The company is reported to work on the successor of the premium over-ear headphones and has received new patents for the same thing.
A report by Apple patents said that companies based in Cupertino-based have received other patents from the US patent & trademark that showed the launch of Max Airpods 2.
Patent is about processing movement on the surface sensitive to touch, suggesting both Apple headphones generation can display touch controls .
Max airpods are currently equipped with a digital crown that allows users to make volume adjustments and control music.
The digital crown on Max airpods is a unique and smart choice.
But, Apple Airpods Max 2 with touch controls can make it easier to wake up siri, skip songs, volume control and do more.
In an interview with Japanese Casa Brutus design websites in 2020, Apple acknowledged that the trial for AirPods Max also included touch control, but in the end settled on the design of the digital crown instead.
The report said that this was not the first time Apple had received patents related to touch controls on max airpods.
Apple is said to have at least three documents about this technology.
