Apple has started the launch of the new firmware update for AirPods Pro that will bring the version 4A402 to the true wireless earbud, according to the report by 9to5Mac.
For now, the firmware update is only an exclusive airpod and airpod max, airpods, or beats headphones will not get it.
Namely, for now.
The firmware launch can also include this gadget in the future.
Updates will be automatically transferred to your pro airpods via Bluetooth when you connect the Earbud to your iPhone.
To check if you have the latest firmware version, go to the settings on the iPhone, open the Bluetooth menu, find your airpod in the device list there and tap ‘i’ next to it to check the firmware version.
The latest firmware version, as we mentioned earlier, is 4A402 and if it only shows that you have the latest version and you don’t need to do anything else.
Meanwhile, rumors about the successor to the pro airpods have arrived.
Tipster Frontron has claimed that AirPods Pro 2 can make them enter the market in the third quarter of 2022.
The Frontron told Macrumor that he got information from the supply chain and was based on the same source as properly predicted 3.
Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman and Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo previously also reported that Apple worked on the second generation airpods to follow airpods 3.
In accordance with Mark, the upcoming airpods of Pro 2 will be quite compact compared to airpods currently pro as a company aiming to get rid of short stems that stand out from below.
