Google has added support for the veranda screen widget on Google Maps for iOS.
There are four widgets intended to make it faster for iPhone users to use Google Maps.
With only one beats, you can use a widget to find a restaurant, gas station and can even start navigation on certain routes.
Other widgets will help you instantly check the status of the specific route traffic you have chosen.
You can put this widget directly on the Home screen.
To use the new widget feature, you must update Google Maps on your iPhone to version 7.74.
Just visit the App Store to update the application.
With this widget, you can access the most needed features directly from the Home screen.
After you update the application, you can easily add a widget by tapping the Edit button on the Today display screen.
You will find four new widgets – Google’s local guide, Google traffic, Google Transit departure and Google travel time.
Apple introduced a widget with iOS updates 14 years ago.
Widgets can be placed anywhere between the application and it can really be adjusted in terms of placement, shape and size.
Users get three different sizes to choose from and be released to place them anywhere on the veranda screen according to their choice.
There is also something called the smart stack style widget that you can make by dragging and dropping the same size widget at the top of each other.
