Tracker detects give Android users the ability to scan airtag or endorsed find tracker items I activate that may be traveling with them without their knowledge.
We are raising the bar on the privacy of users and our industry, and hope others will follow, “Apple said in a statement.
If the application Detect Tracker Airtag unexpected finding that far from its owner, it will play a sound within 10 minutes to identify trackers.
Apple said that it may take up to 15 minutes after the tracer is separated from its owner before it appears in the application.
Trackers will then be marked as “Airtag Unknown” in the application.
Apple also will offer instruction to Android users to remove the battery inside the application.
It also warns users to contact law enforcement if the person feels their safety at risk because of a tracker item.
Apple in June airtags updated with new software to increase the period of time after it Airtag who are no longer with the owners will play a sound when moved.
