Apple may have a ‘problem’ recruitment in Silicon Valley

Someone will assume that recruiting people – or maintaining it – will not be a problem for one of the largest companies in the world.
However, according to Bloomberg, Apple might face this problem.
Mark Gurman in Bloomberg suggested that Apple had lost talent because of how high the cost of living in the San Francisco Bay area.
“Many engineers regret them they cannot balance living costs with other activities such as college lectures for their children and long-term savings,” Gurman said in his bulletin for Bloomberg.
Apple, according to Gurman, is looking for a “decentralization” of the Silicone Valley.
Senior executives such as Johny Souji, Eddy Cue and Deirdre O’Brien worked to fix this problem.
Sroudji, Custom Apple silicon head, has supported seeing beyond Silicon Valley.
Gurman wrote that the group headed by Sroudji has opened an office in Florida, Texas, Massachussets, Israel and parts of Asia in recent years.
They have recently developed in Germany, Oregon and San Diego.
CUE, who heads Apple’s online service, has encouraged investment in various offices in Los Angeles and in Nashville.
Gurman said that Apple’s Chief Operating Officer Jeff Williams had seen the benefits of having a more global workforce.
Apple has developed in Los Angeles, San Diego, Oregon, Colorado, Iowa, Miami and New York in the US.
Gurman also said that Apple faced the struggle to diversify his workforce because they compete with Amazon, Google and other technology companies in Silicon Valley.
“Apple can get the same job from employees who demand a much lower salary in areas that are less expensive,” said Gurman in his bulletin.
He further said that Apple will face challenges outside Silicon Valley too because it requires direct work, which can limit the company’s talent pool.
