Apple is working on improvements for bugs that have recently been reported in the Safari Web browser, according to the report by 9to5Mac.
Bugs are reported by fingerprintjs.com and allow someone to extract user search history and even the Google ID stored there.
Security vulnerability is found in the implementation of indexeddb, Javascript API used to store data.
With the help of this bug, cybercriminal can see the recently accessed URL and even get a Google User ID, which describes your personal information.
According to the report by fingerprintjs.com, indexeddb follows the same origin policy that limits how documents or scripts loaded from one origin can interact with other resources.
“In Safari 15 in MacOS, and in all browsers on iOS and iPados 15, the indexeddb fire violates the same origin policy.
Every time a website interacts with a database, the new database (empty) with the same name is made in all active frames, tabs , and other windows in the same browser session.
