NEW DELHI: Delhi Police on Wednesday challenged the high court order prohibiting entry to 3 student activists from the 2020 Delhi riots case.
The special leave petition has been filed with law enforcement against the Delhi high court ruling that allowed bail to Asif Iqbal Tanha, Devangana Kalita along with Natasha Narwal that had been billed under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act in relation with the riots that burnt the funds in February this past year.
A seat of Justices Siddharth Mridul and Anup Jairam Bhambhani on Tuesday put aside the trial court’s orders denying bond into the Pinjra Tod activists that had been detained in May 2020.
