Chennai: Art Management Consultant Shreya Nagarajan Singh and Bharatnatyam Dancer Priya Murle has gathered to create parivartan – research initiatives for performing arts.
This grant aims to stimulate research between art and allied fields such as engineering, technology, architecture, science, mathematics and medicine.
It focuses on instilling critical and lateral thinking among show artists.
This platform has been made to enable innovative ways to make art more accessible and relevant for the future for scholars and art practitioners the same.
The choice for grants will be based on the feasibility and contents of the research proposal submitted in the application form.
Chosen will be given Rs 25,000 (including a number of Rs 5,000 for mentors) for settlement of their project.
The recipient will have internal reviews, interactive sessions with their chosen mentors (or connect through Parivartan) and final presentations at the end of six months.
