Chennai: Members of the DMK Lok Sabha and Party leaders at Parliament T Balu have asked the Mansukh Mandaviya UNI Minister to apply a 27% reservation for OBCs in the medical seat quota.
Tamil Nadu has become a land of social justice for decades and tries to make inclusive growth that includes OBC, SCS and STS, who live peacefully in the state, said Balu.
“But for our disappointment, (it was not implemented) even after Madras High Court asked the Indian Medical Council in 2020 about why they did not implement a 27% reservation for OBC for all Indian quota seats even when they were followed in the Central Government Medical Institution,” Write Balu in a letter to the Mandaviya Union Minister.
Due to the no illness of OBC reservations in all Indian quota seats, between 2017 and 2020, around 11,000 OBC students have lost the opportunity to register themselves in MBBS, BDS, MS and MDS, among others, he said.
“Even after continuing the representation of various OBC associations to the Minister of Health Union, the central government has not started the action so far to implement a reservation of 27% for OBC in all Indian quota seats.
I want to ask you, on behalf of Tamil Nadu, to satisfy the instructions in accordance with the authority Related, because it accelerates the problem that is long pending, “said Balu.
