Kanpur: Senior District Official conducted a surprise examination from several schools in the city on Tuesday to verify the reality of land and to see school preparation after being reopened on Monday.
They also check whether schools and colleges follow preventative measures for Covid-19.
They were accompanied by Dios Kanpur Nagar.
Division Commissioner Raj Shekhar along with Dios visiting Rajkiya Balika Inter College and BNSD Inter College, Chunniganj.
The average presence is around 25% in all classes from IX to XII.
Officials said that attendance could improve in the coming days.
Looking into the safety of the teacher against Covid-19, Dios confirmed that 90% of high school teachers and staff were vaccinated against Coronavirus.
Officials observed that Covid’s aid desk was established at the Balika Inter College Rajkiya.
Hand sanitizer is available but the thermal gun does not work, observed.
The Commissioner directs the Joint Director, education to ensure that good quality hand cleaners and thermal pistols that are fully functional are available and used in each college.
It was also found that many teachers and campus staff did not wear masks.
The Commissioner considers it seriously and requested JD’s education to issue strict instructions needed for all related to compliance in this relationship.
During the inspection at BNSD College, officials observed that the deputy headmaster was found not wearing a face mask.
The Commissioner directed Keo to force RS 1,000 fine and to issue Challan to the Deputy Principal in coordination with the Nagar Nagar officer concerned.
The Commissioner was also directed at ensuring that all class teachers spoke to parents of their school students and to tell them about the Covid-19 protocol which was followed here and also convinced parents to send their children to their schools.
The Commissioner directed JD’s education to send daily reports to him about the presence of students (Wise Regency) and Covid prevention measures taken by schools such as functional Covid assistance, hand sanitizer and thermal gun.
