Mysuru: Mysuru MP Pratap Sime on Thursday said he met BJP MLA Narasimha Nayak (Rajugouda), who was the chairman of the Urban Water supply board Karnataka, and asked him to implement the Hale Unduwadi project according to the original proposal RS 563 crore.
He asked for a nook to drop the revised 350 Crore Rs proposal because it would not serve a big purpose.
Through this project, drinking water will be supplied from Hale Unduewadi village near Krs Dam to Mysore and 92 around the village.
“The council must take the original project, not revised,” he said.
He said nayak told him that he would take a problem at the next board meeting.
Simea also held a meeting with officials from the State Textile Department on the works of the Mega Silk cluster sponsored in the city center.
The cluster will appear with the estimated cost of Rs 50 Crore.
Simeh told the central government released the first installment for the project.
Shankar’s textile minister Patil Munenakoppa was present at the meeting.
