Mysuru: MySuru MP Pratap Sime has urged the Head of the Minister of Bumavaraj Bommai to approve administrative approval for the renovation of the hospital attached to the Mysuru Medical College Research Institute (MMCRI).
In a letter to CM, MP stated that the old century hospital such as KR Hospital, Cheluvamba hospital and PKTB needed urgent improvement because they were built by Maharaja from Mysore a hundred years ago.
Estimated Rs 85.98 Crore to repair this hospital has been submitted to the Government by MMCRI Dean and Director and is awaiting approval.
As thousands of patients from MySuru and neighboring districts such as Mandya, Chamarajanagar, Kodagu, Hassan visited hospitals for care every day, the government must give approval immediately for these works, said MP’s letter.
