‘Appuppanthadi’ to celebrate children’s day

Thiruvananthapuram: As part of a child’s day celebration, Kovalam Vellar Arts and Crafts Village provides opportunities for children to win a total gift worth Rs 1 Lakh.
Children will be allowed to visit through campus and draw based on it.
The competition, which will be held on November 14 is named “Appuppanthadi”.
Competition will be held starting at 11:00 to 4.00 in the afternoon.
The participants must register their names before the event by paying RS 100 fees.
The competition is divided into three categories, namely, elementary school, high school and higher.
The first prize in each category is Rs 10,000.
The second prize is Rs 5,000 and the third is Rs 2,500.
In addition, there are 10 gifts incentives for all categories.
Before the competition, the presence will be recorded.
The participants will also be allowed to visit campus and draw by using campus as a reference.
Participants can use watercolor or acrylic paint for competition.
Art paper for drawing will be provided by the craft village.
The candidates must bring material to paint besides art paper.
Because this is the first Covid campus in this country to conduct Covid audits and take precautions.
The competition will be obeyed by a tight Covid protocol.
The committee will provide tea and snacks for children participating in the painting competition.
Outdoor food is prohibited in the craft village.
So, the cost of food and other drinks must be borne by children or their friends.
