New Delhi: APS Deol has resigned as Advocate General (AG) Punjab.
Thera was a raging controversy since Deol was appointed for the position by Charanjit Minister Singh Channi’s chairman, with questions asked in the congress and outside.
Deol is advice to the former DGP Sumedh Singh Saini in cases submitted against it in professional capacity.
He even argued to get a blanket bail for Saini.

Sikh Netizen Score also criticized the move and even run the hashtag on Channi’s decision with #Channisavingsumedhsaini.
Channi maintained a decision that said “” an advocate works for someone professionally.
After he was appointed by the government, he would work for the government now.
He remained an advocate for Captain Amarinder Singh too for almost 20 years, when the case was registered against him during the Badal regime.
There is nothing to read into this promise.
