Archery School in C’nagar Converted to CCC

S Rameshmysuru: In the midst of Covid cases that surged, the administrative district of Chamarajanagar has changed the government – the archery and fence sports school located in Santthemarahalli to the Covid Care Center (CCC).
The district, which registered a single digit case until the first week of January, recorded a sudden surge in the case.
As Friday, this district has 1,593 active cases with 1,313 patients placed under house isolation.
Rural areas register more cases compared to urban areas, according to officials.
District administration has issued orders to change archery schools to CCC 60 beds to provide care to patients from villages side by side with 40 tribes.
Students from Soliga, Betta Kuruba, Jenu Kuruba, Different and other communities chosen from Bidar, Hubballi-Dharwad, Chikkamagalur, Ballari, MySuru, Shivamogga are undergoing training in institutions.
Training participants attend school and college during the day.
From them, 11 studies in high school, 16 are in PU and 13 pursues various courses at the Government of Kuderu’s first-class college.
The school, founded in 2016 in five hectares of land by the Department of Youth and Sports Empowerment (Dyes), is the first facility in a state of identifying and studying tribal students throughout the state.
District administration has affected training and, students have begun to empty housing schools.
Last year, the district government had turned school to CCC from April to September.
Because all the schools were closed because Covid last year, it did not have an impact on studies and training in institutions, but now, with the administration of the New Order district to change housing schools to CCC, students worry about GAP learning are getting worse.
Speaking to Toi, assistant director of the Ident Empowerment and Sports Affairs Anitha said that the district government had allowed students to continue their education in schools and colleges in their hometowns.
“Apart from this, students can also undergo archery training and fences at other institutions from the country for now.
The government has arranged dormitory facilities for their stay in Kuderu, Chamarajanagar and other places,” he added.

Vishwilah District Health Officer told TII that as many as 28 Covid patients were undergoing treatment at the 60-bed santhemarahalli community health center.
“Health authorities will divert additional cases to the CCC School School so all full beds in the public health center,” he added.
