Arjun and Arvind rower failed to qualify for a double sculls final

Tokyo: Indian rower Arjun Lal Jat and Arvind Singh failed to qualify for a mild sculls double final at the Tokyo Olympics after finishing sixth and last in the second semifinal on Wednesday.
Arjun and Arvind recorded 6: 24.41 to finish last in the semifinals of six teams 2 in the sea of sea forest water.
The top three pairs in each semifinals qualified for the final.
However, Arjun and Arvind have produced the performance of the best Olympics by Indian rowers by reaching the semifinals.
They will be finished at least in 12th place.
While Arjun assumed the role of Bower, Arvind was a team stroker.
Both ended fifth in the heat on Saturday.
The event includes two rowers on vessel using two oars of each.
Boat cross parts are long, narrow and spacious at cross-sectional areas helping to reduce obstacles.
The maximum set for each male competitor is 72.5kg and the average weight may not exceed 70 kg.
