Arjun Kapoor is close enough to his sister Anshula Kapoor.
While he was now tied to half his sister, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor after Sridevi’s death in 2018, recently, the actor revealed that the taste was ‘very strange’ and ‘new’ every time JasaHvi called him ‘Arjun Bhaiyya’.
In the Clubhouse session recently attended by Arjun Kapoor, the actor was asked about the Chatshow episode of Karan Johar with JasaHvi Kapoor where ‘Arjun Bhaiyya’ was translated as ‘Brother Arjun.’ For this, Arsjun replied that ‘Brother Arjun’ was heard ‘a rather religious’ to him and said, “The problem,’ Arjun Bhaiyya ‘still sounds very strange to me, just because anshula called me’ bhai ‘in a very strange way.’ Arjun Bhaiyya ‘is a very new thing.
So, when Janhvi said it, it still feels very, very new for me, actually.
”
He further added that he never asked Jasahvi to call him with a certain name.
“I thought it only came very natural to JasaHvi to call me ‘Arjun Bhaiyya’ because I never even told him, ‘You have to call me this’ or call me that,” he explained.
For The Unversed, Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor were two Boney Kapoor children from his first marriage with Mona Shourie Kapoor.
Then in 1996, Boney tied the knot with Sridevi and was blessed with two daughters, Jan.vi and Khushi Kapoor.
The family grew closed after Sridevi died in 2018 because it drowned as Arjun and Anshula supported Boney, Jan.VI and Khushi during their difficult times.
Previously on Arjun’s birthday this year, Janhvi had showered him in a tone that was truly read, “@ Arjunkapoorit’s ury ur !!! and your year.
