Arjuna Awardee Statue Destroyed in Punjab, Fumes Basketball Association

Ludhiana: Punjab Basketball Association (PBA) has condemned the “embarrassing insults worn” to Bust Arjuna Awardee Gurdial Singh Malhi at a stadium in his name in Gureh Village (Jagraon).
Bust from the deceased Arjuna Awardee Basketballer “has been found brutally destroyed” and also burned by late night criminals on Tuesday.
R S Gill (DGP) Pension and President of the Punjab Basketball Association (PBA) in an emotional statement said, “This surprised me when the dead Awardee Basketer Arjuna was a passionate and good human player”.

PBA said, “Bust Smashing is an unfortunate and embarrassing action to insult a sportsman who dedicates his life to get a victory for the country and country.
I am confident of administration and the police will bring guilty to order and find a conspirator who has played with the sentiment from sportsmen.”
