Mumbai: Actor Armaan Kohli was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Sundays for allegedly having cocaine.
NCB has searched for the residence of Andheri actor on Saturday in cases related to drugs after his name was cut when they questioned Peddler’s alleged, Ajay Singh, who was arrested in the same morning.
Kohli and Singh’s return service court, which has been charged under narcotics drugs and psychotropic substances acting for procurement, ownership, transportation of sales and trade in illegal trade and hiding offenders, to NCB arrived on Monday.
While NCB officers claimed that the prime facie they had found Kohli’s relationship with vendors, including some foreign nationals, the source said that the actor could seek a guarantee because the number of cocaine was confiscated from it 1.2GM, which was under the ‘personal consumption’ category.
If the defense proves that the quantity seized only for consumption, the court can relieve Kohli and ask him to undergo a three-month rehabilitation program.
But NCB officials showed that in the arrest of Siddharth Pithani, Flatmate Final Actor Sushant Singh Rajput, they did not find drugs about him, but have found his relationship with suppliers.
“In the case of Kohli too, we caught Peddler Singh from who we recovered 25GM Mephedrone and his interrogation took us to the actor.
When we searched Kohli’s residence, we found 1.2GM cocaine there,” said an officer.
The probe into the drug case has found an international link as a cocaine confiscated by South America.
NCB Mumbai also found a WhatsApp chat and financial transactions.
Agencies are now investigating routes and relationships used to bring drugs to Mumbai and other traders’ involvement.

Kohli, former Bigg boss contestant, has acted in Hindi films such as Jaana Dushman, Qahar, Juari, Dushman Zamana and Prem Dhan Payo.
