For the second time in two weeks, the Taliban damaged Gurdwara in Kabul, said the report on Friday.
The survilyarmed official, who claimed to be from the special unit of the Afghan Islamic Emirates, was forcibly entered and damaged the Gurdwara Dashmesh ribbon in the Parwan Karte, Kabul, according to a report from Kabul.
“They intimidated the community present there, and harassed the sanctity of the holy place,” said Puneet Singh Chandhok, President of the Indian World Forum, according to Ani’s news agency.
According to Chandhok, the Taliban army also destroyed the house of former MP Sikh.
“They not only robbed Gurdwara but also the whole community of community schools installed next to it.
Gurdwara’s private security guards initially prevented them from entering but they were also threatened and also managed,” he added.
Although no official response from India, the source said the government tried to verify the report.
Following Gurdwara’s destruction in Kabul last week, the government said such attacks raised fears not only for India but for the world and that the international community must continue to insist on meeting the objectives described in the August UN Security Council resolution adopted under the presidency of India.
The UNSC 2593 resolution reaffirms the importance of upholding human rights, including women, children and minorities, and encourages all parties to seek inclusive political settlement.
It also calls the Taliban to ensure that Afghan land is not used by terrorist groups.
