Army facilitates J & K students pursue higher education at Mewar University

Jaipur: A total of 300 students from Jammu and Kashmir, who have been chosen to attend various higher education courses at the Mewar University in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan, were given warm shipments by the Indian army at the ceremony held at the Sher- i-Kashmir International Conference Center (SKICC) in Srinagar on Tuesday.

The Indian army, in collaboration with the University of Mewar, has tried to provide quality education to the young Jammu and Kashmir but abroad through the ‘Sadhbhavna’ program.

Mewar University provides various courses, ranging from Btech in civil, mechanical, computer science, IT, and electronics and communication; B.Pharm and BSC in CCare Heart, OfTalmology, Dialysis, Radio and Imaging Technology, Agriculture, Horticulture and Forestry; For diplomas in the Lab Med, and care of first aid patients, among others.
To empower talented students and reduce financial burdens that might increase in families, the Indian Army and Mewar University have formulated auxiliary scholarship programs.

Overcoming students, Pandey encourages them to take advantage of the opportunity and become a productive community.
He emphasizes the importance of good academic platforms and capable instructional staff, which in this example is provided by Mewar University.
He appreciated the efforts included by the Mewar University under the guidance of Ashok Kumar Gadiya.
GOC also interacts with past Kashmir students and now at the university and urges them to motivate batches now to excel not only in studies but also in other co-curricular activities.
