JAMMU: The Army directed a civic medical team to the forward regions before its anti-infiltration barrier system (AIOS) to ease the Covid-19 vaccination push across the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district on Fridaya defence spokesperson stated.
The vaccination drive has been carried out in cooperation with all the Jammu and Kashmir civil medical division police, he added.
The spokesperson explained the civil medical group in the Poonch rural health division seen Kirni village to make sure the vaccination of civilians from the viral illness in those remote locations.
Twenty beneficiaries aged between 18 and 45 years obtained the initial dose of this vaccine through the driveway, he explained.
The spokesperson said girls and older individuals who couldn’t see Poonch city were vaccinated in their doorstep from the civic medical group.
The medical staff was inducted into the forward locations, as near as 300 metres in the LoC, he further added.
