Army to thwart an offer to change the status of the border quo: naravane

New Delhi: The army will thwart all efforts to unilaterally change the status of quo along the country’s border, said the Army General M M M Naravane on Saturday, stressed that no one has to make mistakes by testing the country’s determination.
Overcoming the Army Annual Day Parade, where a new 13-lakh army battle uniform with “pattern of digital disorders” was also displayed, Gen Naravane said last year was “very challenging” because of the ongoing military confrontation with China in East Ladakh and Covid pandemics.
Referring to the 14th round of the Corps Commander’s talks between India and China on January 12, he said the steps were taken to keep the situation under control.
“Joint efforts at various levels cause release in many regions which are constructive steps.
Efforts will continue to find solutions based on reciprocal security and equivalent,” he said.
Naravane Gen, however, added, “Our patience is a sign of our confidence, but no one has to make a mistake by testing it …
Our message is clear, Indian soldiers will not allow efforts to change status unilaterally.
