Gurugram: SGT University students protested on Tuesday to demand the arrest of all accused of the murder of a young man on campus.
Vinit, a student in the last year of Ayurvedic Medical and Surgery (BAMS), was shot dead on Friday afternoon in the parking area when he was on his way to a dormitory with his friends.
Four students from the same university have been ordered, but there is no arrest that has not been made so far.
“The police have not made progress in this case.
Some students have left the Dormitory of the Medical Department of Ayurvedic and returned home in fear.
We have asked the University to send monetary compensation to the victim’s family,” said a student, did not want to be named.
Some Tii spoke on campus said some students had limited themselves to their rooms while others decided not to attend the course until all the defendants were arrested.
“Investigations seem to move with the speed of the snail, although it is known to be accused.
We feel anxious and unsafe here,” said other students, asking for anonymity.
Meanwhile, the University Administration has mobilized more security guards on campus and is working on separate entries.
At present, the University distributes the entrance to the hospital.
“The murder of a student on campus will definitely affect everyone who studies here.
While administration has convinced students from a safer environment, my parents are considering interesting me out of college,” said one classmate Vinit.
