Arrested by telephone in the exam hall, Chennai Girl ended life

Chennai: Caught with a cellphone in the examination hall and was issued by an invigilator, a 20-year-old girl who pursued a health science course on Friday jumped to death from the third floor of a private medical university near Chennai.
Sonali from Pudur is doing BSC (Allied Health Sciences) in Saveetha Medical College and Hospital in Thandalam near Sriparumbudur.
Police said he was among 18 students writing the second semester physics exam in the hall on the seventh floor.
At 10:20 a.m., an invigilator found Sonali using a cellphone, maybe looking for answers, police said.
He caught a telephone, because the rules forbid students from carrying electronic gadgets to the exam hall, police said.
Sonali was then prohibited from writing the exam and sent out.
He first told the authorities that he only sent a message to someone.
Because it goes unconditionally, he stands outside the hall for a while and goes.
The police said that around 11am, he climbed the stairs to reach the third floor of the seventh floor and jumped from the wall of the wall of the Parapet.
He suffered a head injury and died on the spot.
“We investigated whether he was arrested two days back in the same problem and released with a warning,” said a police officer.
However, his father had filed a complaint at the Sriperumbudur police station who was looking for actions against those responsible for his death.
