Written by news2in

Thiruvananthapuram: The Director and Chair of the State Film Development Kerala (KSFDC) Shaji N Karun said here on Monday that the community developed when men and women worked together.
Speaking of training programs for the art procession to be held as part of the Anti-Mahar Kudumbashree ‘Sthreepaksha Navakerlam’ campaign, he said that gender gaps in the employment sector have declined in the age of digital media.
The six-day camp will train women to do two music and drama shows.
This will be staged as part of the art procession scheduled to be held in February.
Drama and music performances have been designed based on dowry, women’s oppression and women’s empowerment.
Women from 12 districts took part in the camp.
Campaign activities will be held until March 2022.
Detailed work plans have been prepared for activities, which will be implemented in environmental groups at the district level, block and perfs every week.
Talks will be held on ‘dowry and violence’ in the first week of the campaign in three environmental groups and 19,542 auxiliary groups.
Poster campaign, social media challenges, videos, wall campaigns, cartoon series will also be used for campaigns.
The state-level campaign was launched by the Head of Pinarayi Vijayan’s Minister in December.
Three women from each district will take part in the camp.
They will then train 10 members formed specifically in each district.
A total of 140 women will be part of the art process that represents all districts.
They will stage programs throughout the state.
Specialists in Rafeeq Mangalaserry drama, Sreeja Arangotukara, Shylaja Ambu and Sudhi are coaches.
