Arunachal Logs 14 COVID-19 Cases New, Tally at 55,134

Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh reported 14 new Covid-19 cases, eight more than the previous day, pushing counting in the northeastern state to 55.134, a senior health department official was here on Friday.
Covid-19 deaths in the state of the border remained at 280, because there was no new fatality reported in the last 24 hours, the official said.
Arunachal Pradesh now has 115 cases of Covid-19 active, while 54,739 people have recovered from the disease so far, including 14 on Thursday, the State Supervisory Officer (SSO) Dr.
Lobsang Jampa.
The coronavirus recovery rate in the current country is 99.28 percent while the percentage of active cases reaches 0.21, he said.
West Kameng Regency has the highest number of active cases at 23, followed by Tawang (22), Lower in Valley (15) and East afternoon (13), said SSO.
The northeastern state has so far been tested at 11.83,878 samples for Covid-19, including 575 on Thursday, said Jampa, adding that the level of participation in the country reached 2.43 percent.
A total of 13,05,413 people have been inoculated with Covid-19 vaccine in the state so far, the immunization officer of the State Dr.
Dispung Padung.
