PANAJI: AAP National Convener and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal on Monday promises a free pilgrimage to Ayodhya, Shirdi, Velanni and Ajmer Sharif if the party forms a government in the state.
“Goa citizens can choose one of these four places and we will finish traveling for free.
We have shown this by implementing it in Delhi,” said Kejriwa told reporters in Dona Paula a few hours after landing in the state on the third visit this year.
This is the third promise that Convener AAP has made to goans in many visits.
During his last visit in September, Kejriwal has promised work to every young man, Rs 3,000 per month for one family youth until they are employed, Rs 5,000 per month for families leaving unemployment due to tourism and mining closed, to establish a University Skill and 80% job reservations For Goa youth.
Kejriwal has kicked the party campaign in July by announcing 300 free electricity units per month to every Goan family along with the neglect of delayed electricity bills and free power for agricultural purposes.
He also accused the BJP of protecting the Minister of Chief Pramod Sawant from corruption allegations made by former Goa Governor Satya Pal Malik.
“The accusation made by Satyapal Malik Ji is very serious, but the sad thing is that BJP tries to save the minister.
This means that it is openly encouraging corruption,” Kejriwal said.
