Sam d’Souza, whose name has appeared in connection with the allegations around the drug-on-cruise case, appeared in front of the Special Investigation Team Mumbai Police (sitting) on Monday, an official said.
Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan Aryan Khan was arrested last month by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) after storming a cruise and claimed to have confiscated drugs.
Aryan Khan was then given a guarantee by the Bombay High Court.

Mumbai police then formed a special investigation team (sitting) to investigate extortion allegations against NCB officials in connection with this case.

On Monday, D’Souza reached the Suda office in South Mumbai along with his lawyer Pankaj Jadhav at around 12:45 a.m.

The NCB alert team, which also investigated allegations in the case of cruise drugs, has recorded D’Souza’s statement.
Meanwhile, reportedly some new claims emerged from Sam to NDTV that he was not aware of the allegations of an ₹ 25-crore deal.
By insisting he was only intended to arrange a meeting between manager Gosavi and Shah Rukh Khan, Pooja Dadlani, he claimed that Gosavi contacted him a day before Raid medicine on a cruise ship – on October 1 – through Sunil Patil, a “power broker” with connection take effect.
Claiming that he helped establish a face-to-face meeting between Gosavi and Dadlani to be established, he reportedly accused Gosavi in disguised as NCB officer while Prabhakar Sail number was saved in the number as NCB Zonal Sameer Wankhede.
He further said that Sunil Patil, Prabhakar Sail and Gosavi as a fraud and added that Gosavi had taken 50 lakh from the SRK manager, according to the report.
Previously, D’Souza in the defense of his pre-arrest guarantee, was put forward before the Bombay High Court, claiming that Gosavi had taken Rs 50 Lakh from manager Shah Rukh Khan Pooja Dadlani to release Arya Khan.

The number was returned after the NCB arrested Arya Khan in the case on October 3, the application said.

D’Souza also claimed that Gosavi told him that there were no narcotics drugs found in Aryan Khan and him, in fact, innocent.
