Jorthat: With the deterioration of the Covid-19 situation in Assam, the police and paramilitary forces carried out a flag parade in the Golaghat district on Saturday.
MOS Transportation, Industry and Trade, Chandra Mohan Patowary, has ordered the March flag to impose a Covid protocol in this district.
Patowary, which is the Minister of Guardian for the Golaghat district, also ordered the flag parade in the subdivision of Golaghat and Sarupathar each on Sunday and Monday.
“Because of the lack of awareness among people, Coronavirus infection has increased in the Golaghat district.
We have ordered the District Administration to enforce all relevant laws strictly,” Patowary said.
Patowary added that there was a rapid increase in Covid cases in all three subdivisions in Golaghat even though the district became a total detention zone since Wednesday.
A total of 563 Covid patients were in care at the Covid Care Center.
Ten patients were in the temporary ICU 55 were in isolation of houses in Golaghat on Saturday.
According to the State Health Report and the Department of Family Welfare, Golaghat was above in a positive case of Covid-19 in the last 10 days.
A total of 2,725 people were positively tested for Covid-19 in Golaghat, followed by Kamrup Metro (1,803) and Sonitpur (1,721) from June 30 to July 9 has stated seven districts, including “total detention zones”.
