Noida: In the midst of a complaint from the population of civil service, Noida authorities are speeding up the work at the entrance gate, which is intended to improve the image and beauty of the city.
Three of the four gates will be ready at the end of July.
But residents say that the focus must be more on providing basic infrastructure and facilities.
“This city requires quality water and quantity, the right electricity supply, better roads, sanitation and drainage.
The money spent on city beauty is a waste of taxpaying money,” said a resident.
However, officials said that the gate, built at a cost of Rs 9.3 Crore, is part of the city development work and will encourage investment.
The gate, which is being built in the industrial sector 157-159, sector 150 in Noida Expressway, the entry point of Kalindi Kunj and near Hindon between Gaur City and Parthala Roundabout, comes with the theme of industrial development to coexist with a noida showcase from the advanced city consisting of Metros, Flyovers and underpasses etc.
The toll road has been given a deadline to be completed on July 31.
“The gate structure in the 157-159 sector has a shaped shaped shade of the pole on both sides of the road.” The focus is green development along with industrial growth.
It will also provide a modern feel to the city, “said SP Singh, the senior manager worked on the circle of 10 noida authorities.
Meanwhile, the delay can be expected at the entrance in Hindon due to design problems.
Mukesh Vaish, Senior Manager (Work Circle 6) Noida Authority, Saying, “Because the gate will be built on Marg Vikas, the theme will reflect city development mode.
It will include metro elements and signatures flyovers.
