Rohtak: For the past four days, the Dalit family in Bahini Village Mato Rohtak has been forced to travel at least eight kilometers to the city of Megam to buy everyday essence.
The community has faced social ostraction after the local Dalit family refused to draw complaints against a 21-year-old young man from the dominant caste submitted on December 7 under the protection of children from sexual violations (Pocso) and SC / ST acted at the MEHAM police station to cover Their house and allegedly tried to persecute their little daughter.
While the defendant was arrested and sent to the custody of the judiciary, a Pancrayat was held in the village on December 8 which was allegedly asked the minor family to attract this case.
When the family refused, two Panchayats were held and the announcement was made to boycott the entire community.
On December 15, local residents accused the announcement made in the village, warning that people who allowed Dalit to enter their fields would be charged with Rs 11,000.
It also directed people not to hire dalit workers and asked for a shop to stop selling anything.
“I won’t attract his suitcase.
They can boycott us as long as they want.
This is the third time that the defendant tried to enter our house,” said the 70-year-old girl’s grandfather told Saturday.
The Septuagenarian claims that they have been going to the police station to file complaints about social boycott, but his complaint was not registered.
“The police told us to solve this problem.

Maya, a woman from the same community, told Toi that all Dalit families had been boycotted because the announcement was made.
“For the past four days, we without work and loss of money affecting us hard.

Most dalits in the village, which consists of around 20% of the population ratio, is farm laborers.
While the dominant caste members claimed that there was no social boycycle, some told TI that the minor family was told to attract cases submitted under the SC / ST Law.
“Yes, Khap Panchayat is held but only to ask the family to attract SC / ST CASE.
We have no problems with anything other than SC / ST’s actions for splitting us,” Krishhan said.
On Saturday night, DSP Mahesh Kumar was titled the two families to solve this problem.
