JAIPUR: Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot on Friday requested the Centre to provide Amphotericin B shots employed for treating black feces in a time-bound way.
“Much like Remdesivir injections, the Central government has taken the responsibility of devoting Amphotericin B injection into countries.
However, the countries aren’t receiving the shots on time that is causing a great deal of problem to the sufferers,” he explained in a tweet from Hindi.
“If that injection is supplied to the individual in time, their lifetime could be spared,” he added.
Gehlot appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union health ministry Harsh Vardhan to guarantee the access to Amphotericin B shots so that sufferers could be treated punctually.
