Ashwini Vaishnaw Enjoyed ‘Kulhad Chai’ at Banaras Station

Varanasi: MINISTER PERSASAN UNION, Communication, Electronics and Information Technology, Ashwini Vaishnaw arrived at the Varanasi train station to check the facilities and enjoy sipping ‘Kulhad Guardian Chai’ which was hot in a tea shop in a cold morning on Saturday.
The minister, who made a two-day visit to Varanasi, has reviewed the ongoing train project at Uttar Pradesh at a meeting held at Banaras Locomotive Works on Friday.
Vaishnav started his day on Saturday with a hot tea piping for sale in ‘Kulhad’ environmentally friendly in a shop at the train station.
Vaishnaw made a thorough inspection of the train station along with senior officials in the morning hours and paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi while looking at 3D artwork installed in the circulating area.
The Minister also saw the inheritance of nano-gauge machines, platforms, feet on bridges, public passenger rooms, catering arrangements, VIP lounges and other passenger facilities.
Ner Pankaj spokesman Kumar Singh said the train minister checked passenger facilities and work development at the station and expressed happiness on the work.
North Eastern Railway (NER) General Manager Vinay Kumar Tripathi, Division DRM Varanasi Ramashray Pandey and senior train officers present during inspections.
The minister said that world-class passenger facilities and cleanliness must be maintained continuously.
Then, he along with Ner’s officer, went to Junction Prayagraj to do a window-trailing inspection.
Previously, Vaishnaw had reviewed the ongoing train project at Uttar Pradesh in a meeting held at BLW.
Overcoming meetings, the minister said the second entry was newly built, passenger facilities and cleanliness standards at stations have high standards and this quality must be maintained.
He said when Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently made a surprise inspection from the station and expressed satisfaction with passenger cleanliness and facilities.
Expressing satisfaction with passenger facilities at the City Varanasi station, Vaishnaw instructs officers to complete all projects in deadlines while ensuring high quality work.
He also reviewed passenger facilities at the Sarnath train station.
The Minister instructed the officials to complete the basis of the track in the Varanasi-Madhosingh-Prayagraj section conducted by estimated RS 1,249 crore costs priority without sacrificing quality.
He also reviewed better passenger facilities in Varanasi Junction and the nearest train station and directed officials to maintain cleanliness and passenger facilities.
Vaishnaw puts emphasis on the production of diesel & electrical locos and increased capacity of Locomotive Banaras works.
He instructed officers to double, third line, electrification and other works within the scheduled time frame.
Ner General Manager Vinay Kumar Tripathi told the minister that some projects were finished and worked in full swing on the remaining.
The review meeting was attended by Minister Neel Khanth Tiwari and Ravindra Jaiswal, MP BP Saroj, Mlaas Saurabh Srivastava, Surendra Narayan Singh and Sharda Prasad, and Senior Railway officials.
