Ask into Girl’s allegations from Raut: HC

MUMBAI: The Bombay High Court on Tuesday directed Mumbai commissioner of authorities to investigate into a 36-year-old girl’s allegations of harassment and stalking by several guys in the behest of both Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut along with her husband.
A division bench of Justices S S Shinde and N J Jamadar led the police commissioner to submit a report on the courtroom on June 24.
The court was hearing a petition filed in February this year from the girl, a psychologist by profession, asserting she was being stalked and harassed by unidentified men in the behest of both Raut, who’s a Rajya Sabha member, along with her estranged husband.
The lady’s urge, Abha Singhtold that the HC about Tuesday that after the request has been filed, the girl was recently detained in a non-cognisable instance, where it’s been alleged that she secured a bogus PHD level.
“The petitioner was in prison for ten days today.
Once she filed the petition in HC, the whole police machinery was unleashed on her today.
That is absolute vindictiveness and malafide activity,” Singh explained.
The court stated the petitioner could file another request to battle her arrest.
“We direct the commissioner of authorities to explore the grievances raised in the request and take suitable measures.
The commissioner of police will react to us submit a report on June 24,” the bench said.
The girl inside her request said she’d spat three complaints from 2013 and 2018, but no action was taken against the perpetrators up to now.
After the request was discovered in March this year, Raut’s counselor Prasad Dhakephalkar than it refuted the allegations.
Dhakephalkar had subsequently said the petitioner had been a family and just like a girl into the Shiv Sena leader.
