Assam: Armyman was shot dead by Jawan in Tinsukia

Dibrugarh: Lance rose from 73 mountain brigades shot dead by Jawan after the argument was heated at the Army Brigade Headquarters in Tinsukia District on Saturday.
The incident occurred around 1.15 in the morning.
The deceased, Lance rose Sanjay Chand, was shot dead by Jawan Rajendra Prasad who was later detained by the police.
Both personnel come from Uttarakhand.
OC from the New Tinsukia Proudal Police Station said, “Around 5 in the morning, we received a telephone call from the Mountain Brigade 73, informing the shooting incident in the camp.
We were told that Lance went up Sanjay Chand was shot dead by another jawan identified as Rajendra Prasad .
Immediately, the police team rushed to the place and accused Jawan to detention.
One Insas Assault Rifle and 20 used cartridges were confiscated from ownership of Jawan.
He is currently being interrogated at the police station.
