Assam Assembly passes cow bills

Guwahati: Assemblivious Assembly Assam on Friday issued a bill for livestock conservation by prohibiting their sales or purchases within a 5 km radius of Hindu temple or Vaishnavite Satra and in areas that are mostly inhabited by Hindu, Jain, Sikh and other non-beef eat their community and transport them in and through countries without permission.
The Assam’s livestock preservation bill, 2021, was passed by the sound of the sound in the song “Bharat Ki Jai” and “Jai Shree Ram” by the BJP legislator after Congress and AIudf came out of the house as a protest when their request sent a bill to the chosen committee was rejected.
Minister of Himanta Minister Buswa Sarma, who has submitted a bill on Thursday, in the answer to the debate on Friday said that cattle slaughter regulations will strengthen communal harmony between Hindus and Muslims as before.
“It is not possible that only Hindus responsible for maintaining communal harmony, Muslims must also reply.
Legislation does not intend to stop anyone from consuming beef, but people who do it must respect other people’s religious sentiments.
I just said I would be happy If you don’t eat it at all, “he said.
“This bill is not about taking the rights of Muslim populations.
This bill symbolizes our purity, our connection with Indian civilization.
This bill sets my identity as a human being,” he added.
Livestock that will be under this law is bull, bulls, cows, bulls and calves.
The government removed the buffalo and calf calf from the list before the bill was chosen on the advice of the AIDF Aminul Islam legislator.
This is the second time since independence that the state has passed the bill for livestock preservation.
Hitting in Congress, Sarma said that the country was the first to enact the law of livestock preservation again in 1950 when the Congress came to power.
“Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi (Head of First Minister Assam) has brought the Cattle Preservation Act Assam in 1950 long before Gujarat or Uttar Pradesh did it.” Sarma said there was nothing new in this bill and almost the same as those introduced by Bordoloi.
