Assam CM accommodates a 21-hour meeting with DC to draw a development road map

Guwahati: In the first minister, Head of Assam Himanta Bustwa Sarma and his colleagues, held a 21-hour marathon meeting for two days with the Deputy of Commissioners in the Minister of State to attract work plans targeted for the next six months to bring faster growth for the country.
“The first DC conference at Dife has been very satisfying, with the spirit of the Assam team coming out hard and deep.
We have dreams to take Assam to the new path growth & make it among the fastest developing countries in India,” Sarma said.
He added that the targeted and integrated actions plan for various sectors has been designed after detailed discussions with DCS by focusing on faster service providing, fast infrastructure encouragement, health and monitoring of a better central scheme.
“We have identified a priority work area for the next six months, to be monitored and resolved carefully.
We also discussed the proposal of the Basundhara mission, the shipping threshold of government services,” he said.
He said, “Mission Basundhara will include a variety of government services such as land mutations, updating land records and shipping services to people in their homes through online mode without coming to the government office.” The first foot meeting began at 11am on Sunday to midnight and resumed at 8:30 a.m.
on Monday and finally ended after eight hours at 4:30 p.m.
Appearing from the Marathon Sarma Conference said, “Time-bound and strategic implementation will be focused on achieving growth in all parameters.” He also said that the way to foster close coordination between civil administration and the police is also discussed at conferences so that synergy can be achieved for better service to the public.
Quoting an example, he said that even though the police increased the campaign against drugs, addict rehabilitation must be ensured by civil administration for sustainable results.
In the conference, senior ministers and officers put up the presentation of various departments and urged DC for their cooperation in completing the project.
The minister’s chairman said that the next DC conference will be held in Tezpur within six months where the decision status taken at the DIFU conference will be reviewed.
