GUWAHATI: Chief Union Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday requested all deputy commissioners to set up a neighborhood surveillance system to prevent the pandemic from spreading from urban centers to rural regions of the nation. Speaking into this DCs and SPs through video conference, Sarma stated in the aftermath of surging instances, there has to be joint efforts to halt the spread of this pandemic in rural locations. The ministry asked the DCs to make a method to reduce the amount of Covid patients becoming dwelling isolation, as he’s been insisting on institutional quarantine. Sarma also requested the DCs to provide priority to the elderly people and moms to get their doses in the vaccination centers and asked them to make version vaccination centers.
