NEW DELHI: The Assam government declared on Friday it has made a decision to cancel the course 10 and 12 board exams.
The education minister Ranoj Pegu stated that it will not be possible to run both the HSLC, High Madrassa, and also HS last year assessments in light of the prevailing Covid-19.
The decision was taken at the assembly of different stakeholders, such as student organisations held in the state secretariat on Friday evening.
Lately, Karnataka, Odisha, Goa, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana also have cancelled the board exam as a result of outbreak.
Earlier in June, the course 12 CBSE and ISC board examinations are cancelled in light of this Covid-19 scenario in the nation.
