Guwahati: The increase in fuel prices at Assam continued on Sunday, burning a hole in the bag of ordinary people, whose monthly budget had staggered under the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Premium-quality gasoline is sold at Rs 100-Rs 103 per liter in places such as Dibrugarh on Assam, Nagaon in Central Assam, Nalbari in Assam and Silchar and Karimganj lower in the valley of Barak while regular gasoline is sold at a price of Rs 95- Rs 99 at All states.
In the capital city of the state, premium gasoline is valued at Rs 99.54 per liter on Sunday while regular gasoline is at Rs 95.27 per liter.
One liter of diesel sold for RS 88.68 in Guwahati, while Diesel was given a price at Rs 89.45 per liter in Dibrugarh, Rs 89.80 in Darrang, Rs 89.42 in Silchar and Rs 89.19 in Nalbari.
The price of gasoline and diesel was carried out 16 times in June and twice in the first four days of July.
